Benjamin F. Cochran, age 88 of Globe, AZ went home to be with his wife Opal and our Lord on Tues., March 12, 2013. He passed at Cobre Valley Regional Med. Ctr. in Globe, AZ surrounded by his family. He was the son of Benjamin H. and Clara (Penticos) Cochran. He was a longtime resident of Globe and worked for several copper mines in the area. He was a man of many skills and talents who enjoyed life to its fullest. He touched countless lives with his love and compassion. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family and specially his grandchildren. Benjamin served his country proudly in the U.S. Army in the 101st Airborne during World War II from March 1943 until January 1, 1946. He was a treasured friend and will be missed by family and all those who knew him. Preceded in death by his wife Opal M. (Dragoo) Cochran in Feb. 2010. Benjamin is survived by his daughter Sue Queen of Tulsa, OK and Janet “Peni” Thompson (Stan) of Globe, AZ, 7 grandchildren and 16 great Grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa, AZ
