Ernest D. Culpepper

Ernest D. “Buddy” Culpepper, age 86, of Globe, Arizona passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 at his residence in Globe, AZ He was born in Crowell, Texas on August 19, 1926. The son of Jesse and Connie (Brumley) Culpepper. He was the owner of Copper Hills Tackle and Gift Shop and Susans Pride of Southwest. “Buddy” loved to fish and go hunting for Quail, Dove and Pheasant. Enjoyed being outdoors with his many good fishing and hunting friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ernest served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy Seebees during World War II. Preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Connie Culpepper, his brother Homer “Houston” Culpepper and his sister Inez Swicegood. Left behind in loving memory are his wife of 67 years Ima Jo Culpepper, his sons; Danny Culpepper (Susan) and Terry Culpepper, his daughter Deborah Steele, all of Globe, AZ, his sister Evelyn Head of Houma, LA 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Private services will be held at later date.
