Anita “Annie” Guerena Laguna, passed away on October 13th, 2026, in Globe, AZ. She was born on September 18th, 1930, to Jesus and Manuela (Guzman) Guerena.

Annie was a graduate of Globe High School. She worked in the banking industry most of her life.

Annie was a devout Catholic and was a member of Holy Angels Parish her entire life. She volunteered at the Church for many years until her health declined. She shared her faith with family and friends guiding them in their times of trouble.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Laguna, her sister Celia “Sally” Bejarano, her brother-in-law’s Frank Bejarano and Joe B. Gallegos.

She is survived by her sister Josephine Gallegos, brother Jesus (Ida) Guerena including numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Annie was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her family and friends. 

Services will be held on October 23, 2026, at Holy Angels Church, 201 S. Broad St. Globe, AZ. Viewing at 9:00 Rosary at 9:30 Mass at 10:00. Burial to follow at Mountain Breeze Cemetery. Reception at Elks Lodge, 1910 E. Maple St. Globe, AZ.
