Barbara Jane Stemm, a lifelong resident of Miami, Arizona, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 3, 2026, in Miami, Arizona. She was born on June 6, 1946, in Miami, and her life reflected the steady character, commitment, and warmth of the community she called home.

Barbara graduated from Miami High School in 1964, beginning a path marked by learning, service, and quiet accomplishment. She went on to attend Northern Arizona University, where she earned a double bachelor's degree in business administration and business education. After NAU, she taught high school in Bisbee and Thatcher, sharing her knowledge with students and beginning a career rooted in diligence and care for others. Beyond her work, Barbara found joy in the simple and lasting pleasures of life. She was an avid reader, a dog lover, and enjoyed traveling. Her faith also remained an important part of her life, and she attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Claypool.

Barbara is survived by her brother, John, and his wife, Mary. She also leaves behind her nephews, Travis Stemm and George Stemm; her niece, Shannon Stemm; and her great-nieces, Vanessa Stemm, Eva Patel, and Adaley Stemm. She will be remembered with affection across the generations of her family, and her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Stemm; her mother, Lenna Stemm; and her great-niece, Charlie Patel.
