Bert Hopkins Jr.

Bert Hopkins Jr., age 71 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on June 30, 2020 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on February 8, 1949. He was the son of Katherine (James) and Bert Hopkins Sr. He attended school at George Washington Elementary school and Miami High School. He joined the Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He loved music, running and doing volunteer work. He was a laborer for the Tribal Older Adult Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Katherine and Bert Hopkins Sr. and his son Mark L. Hopkins. He is survived by his daughters Rhiannon Hopkins of Phoenix, Lindsey Hopkins of Kingman and his son Keith Hopkins of San Carlos, his sisters Judy Fasthorse of Cutter, Marie Bendle of San Carlos, Patricia Bertoldo of San Carlos, his brothers Edwin Hopkins of San Carlos, Luther Hopkins of San Carlos, Tony Hopkins of San Carlos, William Hopkins Sr. of San Carlos and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in San Carlos Veterans Cemetery.
