Callie Rolene (Cline) Sargent
Callie Rolene (Cline) Sargent passed away on January 12, 2026, in Globe, Arizona, surrounded by close family and friends.
Callie was born on December 18, 1952. She was preceded in death by her father, James LeRoy Cline; her mother, Willena Bell (Byrne) Cline; her brother, Frank LeRoy Cline; and her husband, George “Button” Sargent.
Her childhood was filled with love, laughter, and plenty of shenanigans. She, her brother Frank, and their cousins all lived in the same neighborhood and could often be found running back and forth between homes, usually in search of adventure and occasionally a little mischief.
Callie loved the outdoors and had a special bond with animals, especially her dogs, who were always close by and deeply cherished. She loved the lake, camping, getting outdoors, and especially her jet boat. Even with a big block V8, it never seemed to go quite fast enough for her adventurous spirit.
Naturally artistic and creative, Callie found her calling in the family florist business. She assisted for years before eventually taking over, proudly operating Kelly’s and later Cali’s Flowers, cherished businesses where she shared her beautiful creations with the community. Even when Callie retired, her creativity did not slow down. It only flourished. She seemed able to craft almost anything, and her loved ones continued to be spoiled with silk arrangements, crocheted pieces, jewelry, and countless handmade gifts.
Callie was truly one of a kind. She would give you the shirt off her back and go without if it meant helping someone else. When Callie loved you, you knew it. She would drop whatever she was doing to show up for her friends, who were family in every sense of the word.
Her light burned bright, and she always had a smile to share. Small in stature but big in spirit, Callie never hesitated to voice her opinions, whether you were ready to hear them or not. She lived each day fully and intentionally. She packed more life into her 73 years than most could hope to fit into a lifetime.
Callie is survived by her nephew, Brian (Tandy) Cline, and his children, Chase Cline, Tucker Cline, and Aspen Cline. She is also survived by many stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of Callie’s life will be held by the family at a later date.
