It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Lee Ross, who left this world far too soon on August 3, 2025, in Tonto Basin, Arizona. Born on December 1, 1997, in Glendale, Arizona, David was a shining light in the lives of those who knew him.
David was known for his infectious laugh, endless curiosity, and a heart as big as the Arizona sky. He had an innate ability to bring people together and was always ready to lend a helping hand when someone was in need. Whether it was through his spontaneous adventures or thoughtful gestures, he made sure to fill the lives around him with joy and laughter.
As a devoted son, David had a special bond with his mother that was evident to anyone who saw them together. He was her number one fan—or as he fondly declared, her "Mamas boy." From their shared movie nights to those deep conversations over breakfast, he found solace and strength in her wisdom and love. And she in turn cherished the warmth and happiness he radiated.
David was more than just a caring son; he was a friend, a brother, and a confidant. His unyielding spirit and light-hearted demeanor made him approachable to everyone he met. If you ever needed a comic relief, he would provide it with his goofy impressions or witty one-liners, always reminding us to enjoy life and not take things too seriously.
His kindness had no boundaries. He sought out opportunities to volunteer and help those less fortunate, believing in giving back to the community that raised him. David’s genuine desire to see others smile left a lasting mark on many hearts.
Though his journey along this earth has ended, the memories of his laughter, his compassion, and his love remain deeply embedded in our souls. David Lee Ross will be remembered not just for the life he led, but for the love he shared and the joy he brought into our lives. He is forever loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
