Delfina Olivarez Flores entered into rest on July 16, 2025. Delfina was born July 17th, 1934, in Mogollon New Mexico. Delfina’s parents were Mary Sedillos Rios and Hipolito Martin Olivarez. Delfina was one of twelve sisters and brothers. Delfina is proceeded in death by her parents, and stepfather Chato Lopez and her brothers Joe Olivarez, Stan Olivarez, Gilbert Lopez, Arthur Lopez, and David Olivarez, and her sisters Rebecca Guerrero, Vera Macias and by her husband Carlos Flores and daughter Francine Flores. Surviving sisters and brother Rosa Aguilar, Jessie Garcia, Cecilia Amador, Eddie Lopez and numerous nephews and nieces.

Delfina has four daughters Elizabeth Mata (John), Genevieve Roten (William), Monica Flores (Jack), and Charlene Becker (Troy). Grandchildren William Roten (Sue), Charles Roten (Juanice), Dustin Roten (Rena), Johnny Roten (Tawni), Brittney Mata, Scott Allen, Andy Allen, Jessica Weider (Tom), Roxanne Becker, Greg Becker and 15 great grandchildren.

Delfina was known for being a strong woman, and she instilled that strength in her daughters. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, which she loved dearly. Delfina stayed busy throughout her life, working as a Dietician for Gila General Hospital, R-Dells, Fast Stop in Miami and Gen’s Café, where she made the best chilaquiles you could imagine.

Delfina was always there for all her children and was our "Ride or Die." Whenever we faced a problem, she would prioritize our needs and want to take on our challenges for us. "Family first" was her motto, and she lived and died by that principle. She instilled strength and dedication in all of us. Our mother encouraged us to always stand up for what we believed in. Delfina’s legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she touched. She will be greatly missed.
