Elizabeth Katherine" Liz" Classay

Elizabeth Katherine " Liz" Classay, born on October 17, 1944, in San Carlos, Arizona, passed away on February 22, 2026, in Globe, Arizona. A cherished member of her community, Elizabeth dedicated her professional life as a retired Community Health Representative, where she made a significant impact on the lives of many.

She loved her family with her whole heart. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: Jafus Classay Jr. and his wife Jessica, Latisha Ibarra and her husband Nathan, Jarvis Classay and his wife Krystal, and Jerry Dili Jr. She further enriched the lives of her 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, with whom she treasured countless moments together. Elizabeth also leaves behind her brother James Waterman and his wife Muriel, along with many other beloved family members and friends who held a special place in her heart.

Proceeding in death were her beloved husband, Jafus Jake Classay Sr., and her daughters Leatrice Classay, Lisa Dili, and Carma Classay,her son Danny Classay and her grandson Tylor Modless.

A viewing will be held on February 28, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church, located at San Carlos Avenue in San Carlos, Arizona. This will be followed by a Rosary from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Following the Rosary, the Funeral Service will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location, where family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Elizabeth's remarkable life and enduring legacy.

Elizabeth Katherine Classay's love for her family and her dedication to her community will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
