Georgia Short Humphrey peacefully departed this world in her home on May 25, 2026, at the age of 91. Georgia was born in Cortland N.Y. and moved to Miami AZ in 1944.

Georgia was predeceased by her son Michael Humphrey, and granddaughter, Nicole Humphrey.

Georgia's legacy lives on through her surviving family members. Her son, Tim Humphrey, grandchildren, Amber Humphrey, Stephanie Kirtpatrick (Alvin), Brandi Cano (Jason), Kristi Maldanado (Mark), and Brittney Foster (Jeremiah). Great-grandchildren Emrick, Wyatt, Jasper, Jacob, Jabe, Jace, Kegan, Jeric, Jeremiah, and Shilo. Georgia was also blessed with two great great-grandchildren, Arabella and Myeh.

The family invites you to a celebration of life on June 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Gila County Fairgrounds, located at 900 E. Fairgrounds Road, Globe, AZ 85501. Come and get something to eat and tell a story.
