Imogene Keller Lowe (Jean) was born in Trece, Kansas 26 November 1926. It is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing away on the 4th of October 2025. A loving mother, a remarkable woman and an outstanding cook. Her nurturing spirit, unwavering support and boundless love will forever live on in the hearts of whoever she met. She had a full life and traveled many miles with her husband Elmer in their RV to Alaska and around the Nation.
Fishing in the White Mountains and a lot of camps with friends and family in the Mountains by Happy Jack was a yearly occurrence. She was an active member of her church and enjoyed the fellowship there. She loved her garden and especially gardenias. She especially loved watching the birds and the little furry creatures through the kitchen window in the mornings while she enjoyed her coffee.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Keller of Mesa Az and Gary Keller of Safford AZ and a sister, Joyce Kidney of Globe Az. She was proceeded in death by her two brothers, Don and Dean Stephenson and husbands Elmer Lowe (2010) and Duane Keller (1966). Jean is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Jean was retired from Inspiration Copper, and her telephone system is on display in the Gila County Historical Museum in Globe. A memorial service will be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church on November 8,2025 at 10:00 am. Any donations in her name should be directed to that church.
