Obituary

Isaac Sippi Jr., born on September 24, 1951, in Bylas, Arizona, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Peridot, Arizona.

Isaac early years were rooted in Arizona, where he began his education at an elementary school in Fort Thomas. He continued his academic pursuits at Stewart Indian School in Nevada before attending college at Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Arizona. Committed to building a strong foundation, Isaac also pursued studies in carpentry and attended the Police Academy in the mid-1980s, further equipping himself for a life of service.

Throughout his career, Isaac wore many hats, each reflecting different aspects of his character. He served as a police officer in San Carlos, worked in the early 70's as a Southwest Firefighter and in BIA government. Isaac's practical skills also found expression in his work on cars and as a cowboy in the mountains of Point of Pines.

Outside of work, Isaac was a man of varied interests. He took great pleasure in fishing and spending time in the outdoors He loved working in his yard, planting trees, and nurturing plants. Music was another passion; the sounds of the 1950s, '60s, and '70s.

A profound milestone in Isaac's life was his faith, as he was a born-again Christian, a source of strength and guidance throughout his journey. He approached life’s challenges and celebrations alike with humility, gratitude, and leadership rooted in belief.

Isaac’s legacy continues in the lives of his beloved family. He is survived by his children: daughters Sheila Sippi, Shyla Sippi, and Sybil Sippi; and sons Ike Sippi, Ivan Sippi, and Isaac Sippi III. His memory is further cherished by his sisters Loraine Rodriquez and Josette Delma; his brother Marcus Delma; as well as his 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his spirit and values14.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Sippi; father, Isaac Sippi Sr.; mother, Barbara Mellow; his daughter, Sylvia Sippi; and sisters Barbra Ann Sippi and Mary Eta Sippi.

A wake will be held at the family’s residence in San Carlos, Arizona, on July 8, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for July 9, 2026, at Gilson Wash Baptist Church on Aravaipa Road, San Carlos, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Following the service, burial will take place at Northgate Cemetery, located on Tonto Street, San Carlos, Arizona.
