James Filip (Big Jim) Sullivan passed away on July 30, 2026, in Globe, Arizona, at the age of 70. Born on November 30, 1955, in Jackson, Michigan.

James grew up in Grass Lake, Michigan and was a graduate at Grass Lake High School. He started his career with Adams poured walls and then went into truck driving in his hometown of Grass Lake before moving to Arizona lived in Arizona for 40 years and making Globe his home for the last ten years. Among his proudest achievements, James took great satisfaction in owning and operating his own trucking business in Phoenix, Arizona called Sullivan's Trucking.

James’s passions extended beyond his occupation. An avid motorcycle enthusiast, he relished the experience of riding his Harley and Indian motorcycles, finding both adventure and camaraderie along the open road. His enthusiasm for collecting and restoring antiques.

James is survived by his loving son, Christopher Sullivan of Jackson, Michigan. His sisters: Natalie Siegrist, Mary Dangler, (David) Janet Happy (Keith), and Lisa Sherwood (Dale).

Preceding James in death is his father, mother, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
