JANET CHARLENE GIBSON

Janet Charlene Gibson, 91, passed away on April 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Butte, Montano, to Norman and Jean Thomson. 

She obtained a master's degree from the university of Montana and moved to Arizona in 1956 to accept a teaching position at Miami High School. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, a member of AAUW and was founding member of the Globe Book Club. 

Janet is survived by her husband of 62 years, Stanley, their son Mark, two grandchildren; Arjun and Rohit; one great-grandchildren Sofia, nephews Bradley and Douglas and her sister Caroline.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
