Johnathan James Gates 21 of San Carlos, Arizona, passed away on August 22,2026. He was born on August 25,2004 in Globe, Arizona to Kendrick Rope and Jewel Gates.

Johnathan enjoyed hanging out with his family, playing video games, and being outdoors. He loved his brother and sisters with a big smile on his face.

He is survived by his sister Jenna Phillips, and brothers Jordan and Austin Gates. 

Johnathan is preceded in death by his mother Jewel Gates.

Funeral Services for Johnathan will be on September 11,2026 at Gilson Wash Activity Center in San Carlos, Arizona. Viewing will be at 8:00am and Funeral service will follow at 10:00am. Burial will conclude the service at San Carlos Cemetery.
