Lawrence Travis passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on May 5, 1961, Lawrence will be remembered with love and respect by those who knew him.

Lawrence was educated through earning his GED and completing some college coursework. He was especially proud of being an amazing mechanic, a skill that reflected both his dedication and his hands-on ability. He also enjoyed fishing and coin collecting, interests that brought him pleasure throughout his life.

He is survived by his wife, Constance Travis, and by his children, Tim Travis, Rusty Lucht, April Travis, and William Travis. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Blake Travis, Gabe Schueler, and William Travis, who were an important part of his life. Lawrence is further survived by his siblings Paul Travis, Tracy Travis and Gordan Travis.

He was preceded in death by his Father Paul Travis; his mother, Dawn Harrison; his grandmother, Eileen Dawson; and his grandfather, Fredrick Harrison.

A wonderful father and grandfather. No matter how hard things got he always tried to be there for people. He was a hard worker and loving father. Too weird to live to rare to die. Rest in peace.
