Linda Merle Cox-Ford, born on June 20, 1958, in Miami, Arizona, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, in Globe, Arizona. Linda was a vibrant spirit who brought joy and warmth to those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kevan Ford; her daughter, April Weimer; and her son, Jerry (Jay) Van Meter. Linda took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to her beloved granddaughters, Kailey Van Meter and Reese Van Meter. Together, they made countless memories, as Linda dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting her family.
Linda was preceded in death by her father Albert Cox, her mother Arvita Cox; her sister, Carolyn Hayton; and her brother, Donald Cox.
Known for her love of nature, Linda found joy in spending time outdoors, often tending to her garden, where she cultivated a space filled with beauty and life. Her artistic talents were evident in her passion for painting and coloring, allowing her to express her creativity in a way that brought her great fulfillment. Additionally, Linda cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Moni, whose presence was a source of comfort and happiness in her life.
Linda's legacy is one of love, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her family and passions. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
