Lon Elmer Van Cleve was born to Paul and Geraldine Van Cleve. He married Cheryl on August 24, 1996.
Lon worked as a machinist at Freeport McMoRan. He built a shop at his home for doing machining for his work as well as others. He also worked on large ships and underwater jobs.
He loved spending time with family, and would take them out on the lake for swimming and fishing. He would spend as much time at his brother Dan and Debbie’s as he could. He also enjoyed quite a bit of rock climbing and working on his motorcycle.
Lon and Cheryl talked often about retirement, their “Golden Years”, and all the camping, fishing, traveling and new experiences that they were excited to share together.
