Loren E. Frost Obituary

Loren Eugene Frost passed away peacefully on September 21,2026, at Heritage Health Care in Globe, Arizona. Mr. Frost moved to Globe from Colville, Washington, in 2021, with the love of his life Shirley Frost. Shirley passed in 2023. 

Loren was born in Bellingham, Washington, in 1941 to Grace and Paul Frost. He became a music and band teacher in the Seventh-Day Adventist school system after graduating from Pacific Union College in 1965.

 Loren received his master's from Andrews University. He taught almost 40 years before retiring from Spokane Junior Academy. He married Shirley in 2004.

He enjoyed playing piano and arranging music for his various groups and for his church. He also had a recording studio where he recorded groups throughout the Northwest. He often performed for gospel concerts, weddings, and private parties. He was especially proud of his composition and arrangement of the soundtrack for a multi-media production called Theater of the Universe, produced in Los Angeles, and used as an evangelistic program in the Adventist Church for many years.

 After coming to Globe, Loren played keyboard and tuba with the Globe Miami Centennial Band. Besides music, Loren enjoyed traveling, photography, golfing, and especially visiting with friends and family. 

Loren is survived by his three children, Nolan (Kathleen) of Globe, Kenton of Hillsboro, Oregon, and Jodi of Seattle, Washington, and two grandsons, Spencer Frost (Jordan) of Portland, Oregon, and William Frost of Seattle.

 A Funeral Service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Globe. at 1:00 pm on October 17, 2026
