Lorna "Jean" Jones, age 63 passed away on September 4th, 2026, in Globe, Arizona. She was born on August 19, 1963, on the San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona to Burnette & Jeanette Cassa.

She went to Globe High School and completed her GED and some college education at Craven Community College in New Bern, North Carolina. She later went on and had four beautiful children; Lauren, Ryan, Jonathan, and Eileen. Jean loved to cook, especially at the Sunrise dances. She enjoyed listening to 70's music; country & rock. Spending time with her loved ones is something she enjoyed most of all and her kind spirit will be in our memories forever.

She lived in North Carolina for 22 years with her husband, Ronald Jones before returning to San Carlos, Arizona and she remained there until her passing. 

Jean is survived by her children; Lauren (Brandon) Wiley, Ryan (Kinsey) Jones, Jonathan Bendle, Eileen (Roger) Hosay. and her companion; David Valenzuela. Her sisters; Velma Swift, Carmen (Terry) Stuart, Janet Pahe, and Francelia Cassa, along with 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Several relatives on the reservation including Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces & Nephews. She loved us all including her home here in San Carlos & New Bern, North Carolina. 

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Ronald Len Jones. Parents, Burnette & Jeanette Cassa and siblings, Darlene Singleterry, Burnette Cassa & Samuel Cassa.

Jean had a love for us all that will be in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
