Lynn Annette Vanoss, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Globe, Arizona, on January 11, 2026. She was born on December 19, 1948, in Miami, Arizona, to Joe and Louise Dalley, who welcomed her into the world with open arms and loving hearts.
Lynn dedicated more than 50 years of her life to the noble profession of nursing, spending her career working in the operating room. She truly loved her work and often said, “It was never boring—you got to see blood and guts, and you felt good about what you had done for someone.” Her journey into nursing began after graduating from Miami High School in 1966. She went on to earn her Associate Degree in Nursing from Mesa Community College and received additional specialized training at Baylor Medical University in Dallas, Texas.
Lynn was deeply loved by family and friends around the world. She was married for 53 years and raised her family in Saudi Arabia. Her faith in Jesus Christ guided her throughout her life, and she dedicated countless hours to serving others, always going above and beyond for anyone in need. Her animals were her babies, and her family often joked they were her favorite children.
She is survived by her loving husband, Pierre Vanoss; her daughters, Erin (Richard) Fuller and Dianne (Caleb) Hunt; and her beloved grandchildren—Roman, Amira, Deacon, Orion, Shelby, Conner, Charlotte, Keira, Patrick-Jon, Jacob, and Josephine—who were the joys of her life. She also leaves behind her brother, Kenneth Dalley, who, along with many others, will miss her dearly.
Throughout her life, Lynn found joy in many hobbies and interests, including genealogy, quilting, traveling, and reading. She loved spending time at the lake with her family and enjoyed horseback riding, playing softball, bowling, and hosting parties for Air Force pilots—each a reflection of her vibrant and generous spirit.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Louise Dalley; her son, Jon-Pierre Vanoss; and her brother, Gary Dalley.
A visitation will be held in her memory on January 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Globe, Arizona.
