Martin Manuel Feldhake, 63, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2025. He was born in Ray Sonora, AZ on August 16, 1961, to Edward and Obdulia Feldhake. He was raised in Kearny, AZ along with 6 siblings. Marty graduated from Ray High School and pursued an education in Optics.
In 1988, Marty married Kimberly, and they moved to Lake Havasu- Bullhead City, Yuma and eventually back to the Valley. He began teaching students to become opticians. Wanting a change, they moved to Globe, AZ. Marty became the Recreation Director for the Town of Miami. He ran the pool, raised money to create Miami Memorial Park, ran the Boomtown Spree, took the kids to Diamondback games, ran the Recreation Center. Through it all, he involved the kids and community every step of the way. He said it was his favorite job. They moved to Flagstaff, where they wanted to retire.
Marty was the light that shined in the dark. Bringing people together. Creating pathways for kids to use so they too could shine. He had a natural ability to bring laughter and smiles. He will be deeply missed.
