Obituary

Roger Dale Lewis, born April 17, 1953, in Canton, Ohio, passed away on October 21, 2026, in Globe, Arizona.

He spent 45 years in Washington State living his life. He came to Arizona so his daughter could care for him as he was battling an aggressive form of cancer.

Roger was raised by his mother and stepfather Jay W. Beach in California but eventually moved to Washington. He was a graduate of Alta Loma High School, Class of 1971. He went on to build a long and respected career as a commercial and residential painter in Washington, where he worked for 35 years before retiring in 2009 to take care of the love of his life Theresa who was also battling cancer.

Roger was a master craftsman. When he wasn't crafting Roger enjoyed playing the guitar, picnicking and barbeques at the lake, cooking and teaching his children how to cook, traveling, and working on cars. He especially valued time spent hanging out with family and friends, and those gatherings were among the moments that brought him the greatest happiness.

Roger is survived by his daughters, Rachel Walker and Misty Jones; his son, Louie Daubert; his stepchildren Autumn, Levi and Stevie; his younger brother, Terry Beach; and his many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind the circle of family and friends who shared in his life and companionship.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Marie Nicholas; his father, Carl Lewis; his stepfather, Jay W. Beach; his sister, Tina Beach and younger brother Jody Beach; his brother, Rockford Lewis, also known as Rocky; and Theresa Daubert, the love of his life, also known as Terri. Their memories remained an important part of his life and story.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17, 2027, in the State of Washington.

Roger will be remembered for his craftsmanship, his love of music and the outdoors, and the warmth he brought to time spent with those he cared about. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
