On May 4th, 2026, Grandma Sandi joined her son Chris in watching over her precious grandkids. Sandi was born on October 13,1955 in Miami, Arizona.
Grandma Sandi was the most resilient, stubborn, amazing, supportive women a lot of people ever knew. She touched so many lives in so many deep ways. She never knew a stranger, loved everyone and took care of everyone no matter what.
She proudly served in the United States Army for 20 years. Following her honorable discharge, she transitioned to Pinto Valley Copper Mine, where she worked diligently until her retirement in 2013.
Beyond her career, Sandi's heart was deeply connected to family and cherished moments spent together. She had a passion for attending family reunions, cherishing every chance to reconnect with loved ones and celebrate the bonds that knit her large family close. Camping trips, taken when time permitted, offered her solace and joy in the embrace of nature’s quiet beauty. A spirited soul, Sandi also enjoyed the excitement of visiting the casino. Most of all, her greatest joy came from time spent with her grandchildren, whose presence brought boundless happiness to her life.
Sandi leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward her memory and spirit. Her cherished granddaughter Jayden Lofgreen and grandson Joseph will forever hold her close in their hearts. She is survived by her sisters Debi Savage and Sena Bryant. She is also survived by her nieces Stephanie, Edi, Kayla, and Rena.
Sandi was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Keith Lofgreen and Leslie Faulk, and her son Chris Lofgreen
A Celebration of Life for Sandi will be held on Saturday, May 16,2026 at Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints in Claypool, Arizona at 10:00am. There will be a luncheon to follow after in the Cultural Hall.
