Sharon Joy Miles, born on January 27, 1966, in Phoenix, Arizona in the Gila River Indian Community (Akimel O'Dtham Nation), passed away on July 20, 2026, in San Carlos, Arizona.
Sharon was a proud graduate of high school with various positions to follow after. She was a cook, did housing construction, Wildland Firefighter, and a medical van chair. She was also enrolled as a member of San Carlos Apache Tribe.
Sharon greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two sons Maurice and Stephen.
She is survived by her siblings: David N. Miles (Pastor), Duane Lee Miles, Douglas D. Miles and sisters, Frances L. Ringlero and Joanne Miles- Long.
Preceding Sharon in death is her parents David n. Miles and Marjorie Miles (Belknap) brothers Dale C. Miles, Daniel P. Miles, Ronald Miles, Dwight R. Miles, sisters Norma R. Fowler, Arlene F. Kast.
Family, friends, and all who knew Sharon are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on July 27, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Burdette Hall, Yavapai Street, San Carlos, Arizona. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sharon will be laid to rest at San Carlos Cemetery, Mormon Hill, San Carlos, Arizona.
Sincere gratitude and appreciation to all whom attend services, visited and/ or donated in any way.
