Vivian Jean Auestad, born on August 23, 1942, in Hanlontown, Iowa, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, in Globe, Arizona. Vivian was a remarkable woman, known for her dedication to her family and her passion for animals.

A proud owner and operator of Bhanshieh Kennels, Vivian made a name for herself in the world of dog handling, breeding, and grooming. Her commitment to her craft was exemplified by her champion Afghan hound, Forrifire, and her beloved Arabian horse, Alure. Her expertise and love for these magnificent creatures were evident in every aspect of her work.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Vivian was a vibrant person who embraced life to the fullest. She had a deep love for golf, horse racing, and dog racing, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her granddaughter, Izzabell. Their bond was special, as Izzabell often took her on amazing adventures and ensured that her grandmother was well cared for. Vivian also showed her community spirit as a Girl Scout leader for many years, inspiring young girls and fostering their growth. Additionally, she organized and sponsored tennis tournaments for children, celebrating their achievements with trophies and encouragement.

Vivian cherished her family, attending all of her children's activities with heartfelt enthusiasm. She is survived by her daughter, Chaun Gamache; son, Steve Claussen; sister, Andrea Muzzarelli; and four grandchildren. The legacy she leaves behind is one filled with love, kindness, and the indelible mark she made in the lives of those around her.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Adrian and Pearl Auestad; sisters Cynthia Dulaney and Denise Belcher. Vivian’s life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and her devotion to those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who carry forward the memories of her generous heart and remarkable life.
