Walter Ray Busby 67 of Miami, Arizona passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 9th, 2025.

Walter was born February 11th, 1958, in Tucson, Arizona to John and Velma Busby. He grew up in Tucson with 10 other siblings. Their family moved to Orange Street in Mesa, Arizona and he graduated High School at Westwood High. He worked for the family's company Busby Metals and ran many big jobs at mines in Arizona. He loved working in the scrap metal business. His employees were always happy to follow him.

He married Debi Busby on October 6th, 1984. They have four children Anessa, Malin, Seth and Timothy Aaron. They divorced in 2007. Walter is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. He has touched many lives in his service for the church and will be greatly missed. He has held many callings including Scout Master. 

He is preceded in death by his parents John Maurice Busby and Velma Joan Busby and brother Ronald Busby.

He is survived by his children Anessa Matthews (Damon Matthews), Malin Busby, Seth Busby, And Timothy Aaron Busby. Siblings Robert Busby, John Busby, Richard Busby, Larry Busby, Frances Busby, Molly Busby, Jordan Busby, Benjamin Busby and Amy Busby.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Claypool LDS church at 10:00am on October 18,2025 with lunch following. The Address is 4247 East Broadway St. Claypool, Arizona.
