Yolanda Ysidra Garcia

May 15, 1950 — April 10, 2026

Miami, Arizona

With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Yolanda Garcia, who peacefully left us on April 10,2026, at the age of 75.

Yolanda, a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, will always be remembered for her strength, love, and vibrant spirit. She was born the eldest child in the small town of Gila, New Mexico. She later lived in Silver City before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico. From an early age, she carried a deep sense of responsibility and love for her family-qualities that shaped into the strong and caring woman we will forever remember.

She had a joyful soul and a passion for life's simple pleasure. She loved everything about cowgirl culture- the boots, hats, and the spirit of independence- and she found happiness in music, often expressing herself through singing. She enjoyed spending time on her front porch with her two best friends, Ellie Oros and Mrs. Lena Tena, creating lasting memories for those who knew her.

Her life changed forever when she found true love and moved to Arizona, where she married her beloved husband, Manuel of 33 years. Together, they built a life grounded in love, resilience, and family. As a wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin she was the heart of her home- offering guidance, comfort, and unconditional love to those nearest to her.

She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and cherished memories. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the people she touched and the love she gave so freely. She found great joy in singing, and her voice brought comfort to those around her. Above all, she loved God and stayed strong in her faith, often saying, " God willing." She enjoyed going to church and praying every day.

Although she left us far too soon, we found peace in knowing she is now in the place she often dreamed of- Heaven. We can imagine her singing alongside the angels, free and at peace, watching over all of us with love. Her memory will forever live in our hearts, and her legacy of faith, love, and strength will never be forgotten.

She survived by her husband Manuel Garcia, children Annette Cisneros (Patrick), David Marquez (Sylvia), Monica Garcia (Jeff), Jessica Martinez and Erica Garcia. Sister's Belinda Montoya (Jose) and Leticia Holguin (Armando). Many beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews who carry forward her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion. She preceded in death by her father Lawrence Montoya, her mother Lucy Geist, Brother Lorenzo Montoya and sister Robin Montoya, daughter Stephanie Garcia and nephew Uzziel Hernandez.

A memorial service will be held on May 23rd at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament for those who wish to honor and celebrate her life. Rosary will start at 9:30am and Mass at 10:00am.

She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered

Rest peacefully, your love lives on in us.
